Named after Ann McInnes, mothe rof John McInnes who owned this land before it was subdivided as the Innesdale Esatte.(The Origins of Street Names in the Municipality of Rockdale, compiled by Alderman Ron Rathbone, 1990)

Below: This prettily decorated house is one of only four remaining in Ann St. Unit blocks are more prevalent.

Below: Looking from the Princes Highway end of Ann St. The empty land is a reservation to do with the M5 East tunnel; there is an exit right near Ann St.
