Arncliffe is a working class suburb in the inner south of Sydney, approx 10 kms (12 minutes by train) from central Sydney. It's never going to make a list of Sydney's most fashionable suburbs (though it was once - 150 years ago!) It's where I've lived for the past 22 years, and I love it, so I want to share some of its quirky bits, history, and, yes, beautiful parts, with whoever is interested.

I got mugged around here once!
A good photo tip for you: there is some interesting graffiti under the stairs down to Turrella station (can see it on my blog).
